Things are looking better all the time.....

Barnsley boss Andy Ritchie admits defender Neil Austin "will be struggling" to be fit for their final two matches of the season.

Austin picked up a hamstring injury in Saturday's draw at Blackpool. Fellow defender Paul Reid definitely misses those final two matches after he was sent off in the same game. Ritchie told the club website: "We do not know how severe the injury is, and will be keeping our fingers crossed that Kevin responds to treatment."

As the Tykes play Walsall on the last day of the season, we're gonna need all the help we can get Phil. However, its a start. :)

Well Walsall have sacked the useless Kevan Broadhurst today. Perhaps the Saddlers players will want to impress a potential new manager watching from the stands.
