Ben4BCFC Posted May 22, 2006 Author Report Share Posted May 22, 2006 Sorry - by videos I did mean .wmv files but also .3gp and I wanted to put them on my phone but .3gp don't work on my phone for some reason so I wanted to put them on as mp4 instead. Nibor Posted May 22, 2006 Report Share Posted May 22, 2006 Simple answer is - unfortunately it's not simple.The best tool I've seen for doing mpeg 4 encoding is called Flask MPEG, you could try downloading that and playing with it.I'm not sure if that can go from wmv straight to mpeg, you might need to find a tool that converts wmv to raw data first (avi).I'll post something a bit more detailed later tonight, gotta rush. Nibor Posted May 22, 2006 Report Share Posted May 22, 2006 OK had a bit of a look around and I think you the easiest way is to convert the files to .avi format first. Boilsoft do a converter for wmv to avi. Then you can use flask to encode it to mp4. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
