These deals involve cashback, where you pay upfront and claim back the rental from the dealer retrospectively. They are notorious for making it as difficult as possible to get the money back, but some are OK. I had two contracts with dial-a-phone that have just expired and got all my cash back with no problem. Effectively I had two phones (one for me and one for the wife), 500 any time any network minutes and 100 texts (on each phone) for one year for nothing. I have just taken out another 2 for this year. Brand new handsets, free 12 month contracts.If you follow the links on the onecompare site, they will help you work out the terms and conditions of the cashback, send you a reminder when you need to claim, and even help you challenge the dealer if they play silly buggers.
