Just figured while I'm here I'd post a little forsight into the future. I'm managing a club I've created from scratch (Bristol Forests) coming up from the Conference South.

I'm currently in League one in the 2009/10 season and just lost 1-0 in the local derby against City! But as David Noble scored the match winner, I thought maybe it would be fun to post what has happened to the City team in my version of the game!

Left the club:

Dave Cotterill (Wolves 1.4m)

Liam Fontaine (Wolves 850k)

Luke Wilkshire (MK Dons)

Scott Brown, Chris Weale (Colchester 75k)

Keogh, McCombe, Pearce, Williams, A. Russell, Woodman, Heywood, Partridge, Basso, Orr (Free Transfer to Lower Leagues)

'Major' Signings:

Leigh Bromby (Sheff Utd 300k) Defender

Shefki Kugi (Blackburn 80k) Forward

Daniel Gabbidon (West Ham 80k) Def.

Graham Kavanagh (QPR 24k) Def. Mid

Billy Paynter (Hull) Forward

Jordan Stewart (Leicester) Left Mid/Def

Diego Mastavino (Ac Lugano (Swiss)) Left Mid

Johnnie Jackson (Tottenham) Left Mid

Jacob Timpano (Newcastle) Defender (Our next Australian World Cup Stud!)

and last but certainly not least, Bristol City's goalkeeper of the future... currently Hull U19 Goalkeeper Curtis Aspden

After a midtable finish in 2006/07 season, Steve McMahon took over the managers position and led the team to 5th place and a position in the 07/08 playoffs, which, in typical City fashion, ended in defeat. No major Cup runs to speak of, with embarrassing League Cup first round exits in three of four seasons, and never making it further than the 2nd round of the LDV/Whatever they call it now trophy.

Anyway, figured if someone was bored it might give them something to ponder :P

I spent 25 seasons in the premiership in cm01/02 trying to have the absolutely perfect season (Every game won, including League, FA Cup, League Cup, Champs League, World Championships)

Closest I got was everything minus one draw in the league :(

Had over a Billion dollars in the bank account as well and no need to spend it:P
