robins72 Posted July 19, 2006 Report Share Posted July 19, 2006 Power failures warned for today due to the heat.We are hotter than BEnidorm Miami and Cairo!!!!!Hottest day today predicted for July ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Roads are melting and trees coming down cos of the heat. Aircon is using up so much electric that the national grid are on a panic that power will cut!!There are fires starting in the forests due to the heat and schools shutting because of the heat as there is no maximum temperature for working.Lots of questions asking if its global warming or aviation pollution etc......Can we cope with the heat?Nope!!Whats your thoughts on this heatwave??
