Bcfc And Shrewsbury Town

Couple or more thoughts.

David Noble was magnificant. A genuine playmaker at last.

The back four all played well with Bradley Orr standing out with his forward runs.

Cotterill and Murray were weak. I would drop Cotterill, play Murray on the Right and Williams or Showwaddy on the Left. Today Murray and Williams were both cutting in because they were playing on their wrong sides.

Brooker worked hard, Jevons looked a little out of touch but clearly will do well.

Cole Skuse was very poor resulting in the City playing with 10 men. He didn't make mistakes he just hardly touched the ball and wasn't in the game. He never tackled anyone. In the first half he received, unbelivably, just 3 passes from his teammates. They bypassed him all the time. He spent the time running up and down the pitch 10 yards away from the ball. The only positive things he did was to clap his hands in ecouragement a few times and he pointed very well but at what and for what purpose I know not.

Alex Russell relaced him and at last we had two midfielders involved in the game.

Richard Keog stood out as a substitute, hard working and with a zest for the game.
