That's O-M-E-L-E-T-T-E.

Anyone know how to spell this word to describe beaten eggs cooked in melted butter?

No looking it up anywhere, give it your best shot here.

The word again is O-M-E-L-E-T-T-E.

How do you spell it?? This one is for eggheads only! :w00t:

Is it just me or does it say 'Prontable version' on your post there? In which case, that means you looked it up, in other words, CHEATED.

YOUR A BLOODY FOOD GANIT!!!

CHRIST I BET YOU'RE A FAT BUGGER!

Anyway, it's spelt ohmmmmm (like what the monks in Tibet say) let.

When you say it's for eggheads only, are you referring to us skinheads/baldys?

Fat Bugger, :o take that back! :ranting:

I'm only 16 stone and i'm well over 5ft. 2". Five foot two and a quarter in fat.

Are you going to make a proper attempt to spell omelette or NOT. :dunno:

Come out of your shell and do it man, you're really bringing me to the boil now. :grr:

Lots of potential posters dithering on the correct way to spell O-M-E-L-E-T-T-E, hardly surprising it's a tough egg to crack.

Incredibly, just as this thread was about to sink wihout trace, i've just had a PM from Red Manuel of Madrid with this stupendous effort.

"You can't maka the' HOMMELET' without breaking the heggs"

Well, i've absolutly no idea whether you've spelt omelette correctly or not, Manuel, but full marks to this Spanish City fanatic for his attempt.

Freudian slip?

I'm not sure.

You are certaintly a food fanatic, I wonder how much of each day you spend thinking about food? I've got a friend like you, you're both ganits, food fanatics, the types where you get home from work having thought about food all day, you plan everything you can eat, go out and buy it, cook it, eat it, and realise that it just wasn't enough. Do you go through stages of ganitism? Like my mate would eat dozens of packets of mini chedders in a night munchmunchmunch, although possibly prompted by something different than in your case... Can you justify the amount that you eat/think about food? Do you do a lot of stretches and exercises? (DISCLAIMER The arm to mouth movement doesn't count as exercise)

Nah I don't think I'll spell omelette properly, I'm too cool for school :w00t:
