shamussy
Think its fair to say that we are still clearly in transition, question is whether GJ realises it or not. He seemed to believe we have the final product - HIS team. The back four were dreadful today, but they can surely improve. Problem for me for years now has been the midfield. Noble is far too casual, yes he can look good at times but good as opposed to effective. Brooker will improve on his early season, and despite being just above useless today, he still shows effort and touches of quailty. Woodman is poor, to small, not good enough at reading the game or bursting forward. LJohnson didnt quite seem to be the answer although not seen enough to make judgement yet. Murray is past his best, Cotterill more effective as sub and gaining experience that way. I think we settle for a year in midtable, giving some youngsters a good bit of experience and build properly for the future. Promotion is a joke - we aren't good enough.
