Portland Bill
So Blackpool came to Ashton Gate on saturday without a goal or a point in there first 3 games. There confidence must have been low BEFORE the game, so what does Johnson do....... drop both wingers and give them the inititive. Cheltenham away on a tuesday...... you need to grind out a result and keep it tight at the back...... so what does he do, puts both wingers back in .I am struggling to see the logic in team selection.Another point, ten ? pre season games and all of pre season training we worked on set pieces, delivery etc..then after 3 games he brings his son into the team and HE takes all the set pieces .If you work on things for weeks and they come off( as they did pre season) you let the players who have been taking the free kicks -corners etc continue to take them. What do others think?
Harding_4
To be honest mate its not about who takes the set pieces, its about the movement and determination to get on the end of them that they have been working on in pre-season. Lee Johnson does ping a good ball in so hopefully we will grab a few goals from free kicks and corners this year
