At Least We Won't Get Wet At Stockport

Remember last season and that chorus of "C'mon County" which went on for ages from about 20 of em. Well this season they are clearing that stand:

Stockport County have regrettably found it necessary to ask all season ticket holders in Yellow Block of the Vernon Building Society Stand to relocate for Saturday's game against Bristol City.

The decision has been reached in the interests of ground safety as the Robins are currently taking large away followings.

Around 4,600 fans attended their last away game at Sheffield Wednesday when the following was estimated to be approximately 2,000.

And although our intelligence suggests 1,200 will travel to Edgeley Park we feel that in the interests of ground safety, and indeed our supporters' safety, we are prepared for a following in excess of this figure.

The club apologises for the lateness of the notification but have reserved a number of seats in the Hardcastle Road Stand and the Cheadle End for fans to choose from.

The ticket office staff will do everything to assist supporters in relocating their seats.

Stockport County would like to thank its supporters in advance for their co-operation which is greatly appreciated.
