redsontour
As we settle down from our turmoil hit month we take a new trialist on....and guess what?"El Idrissi was loaned out to Al-Nasr fater having conflicts with FC Saarbruecken coach Rudi Boomer and being banned from the first squad for disciplinary reasons."Now...not casting aspersions on the poor chap, but he sounds just what we need! badger22
Bristol City have taken former Coventry midfielder Faysal El-Idrissi on trial. The 28-year-old Moroccan left the Ricoh Arena just before the end of August after making just two first-team appearances in his month-long stay. But he netted for City's reserves against Plymouth on Tuesday, and boss Gary Johnson told the club website: "We believe Faysal has some ability. "We have given him an extended trial period because we haven't been able to take a close look at him until now." El-Idrissi has previously had spells with seven other clubs - Lille, RE Mouscron, CD Santa Clara, FC Groningen, SK Ronse, FC Saarbucken and Al Nasr Dubai. Tom Fleuriot
Did anybody watch the reserves? With a bit of luck he's a ball-playing central midfielder that we desperately need...
Nibor
Apparently he can play on either side of the midfield. Our squad really lacks width so it's good to see us trialling a player who can provide it.

ChubStixx
I really don't trust his judgement in players!!Take Jermaine Easter for exampleGary Johnson had talks with him because he believed the player had ability, talks broke down as GJ wasn't keen on his attitude, which is fair enough in my opinion. We should know what of sort of manager GJ is now, he won't bring in or keep a player who he thinks will disrupt the harmony at the gate/ has the wrong attitude. Port Said Red
I really don't trust his judgement in players!!Take Jermaine Easter for example From what I understand Easter wanted to remain living within easy reach of the London nightspots, GJ would have loved that! I know that it would have given me second thoughts.
