Loan Signing

With Enoch and now Brooker possibly out for several weeks it's vital to get an extra body in up front.

Not necessarily to go straight in the team, or even a "must sign him permanently" if he has one reasonable game.

Just an underused Championship reserve striker or suchlike to tide us over for a month and prevent panic stations if we lose yet another player.

Makes sense surely and it needn't disrupt the squad - get him in Gary. :city:

how many times has that actually worked though?

Mark Robbins... Robert Fleck... annnddd, thats it, I think.

Bottom line is: if there were strikers of Brooker's ability available on loan, someone else would have got them already. or we would have got them already. What usually happens is that we get someone out of his own first team because his head or his fitness isnt right - and we get five games of averageness before he gets back to match fitness, and he either goes back to his club, or the City player he's into replace is available again.

injuries happen, and we've got 4 strikers in the squad, plus others who can stand in. We just need to handle it for 2 weeks or so. Just the way it goes sometimes..

(although i reckon we should get Malcom Christie on a month, with an option to extend a month..)
