CiderHider Posted September 29, 2006 Report Share Posted September 29, 2006 Sunday see's this new Law come into practice meaning massive changes in employment rights.For me this is just kinda silly, it's more Nanny state policys to keep everyone protected, the only winners will be the slimy lawyers sueing companys for advatising for a "young" apprentice.If i have my own company and i want to employ a YOUNG apprentice to train up, i'll bloody well hire one!and if i get sued becuase some 78 yr old Granny applied to work for me and i said NO! then I'll leave this stupid country and work overseas where i can employ who i see fit.I cant wait to see pensioners working Carphone warehouse, and WWII vets back on the Frontline in Iraq.
