Hodges17
On our official site, Mr Phil Bater has said that he would like to sign Lee from City when he is fit. Any indication of when that will be?
bobby
On our official site, Mr Phil Bater has said that he would like to sign Lee from City when he is fit. Any indication of when that will be? I'd say end of the season obviously - at least that means we can off load him! But really fit???? Good question. I thought he was playing quite well for you though
Hodges17
He is doing ok - laying on goals for others, not scored yet though. He says he is very unfit though. Was he at full fitness at any time during his City career?
Big Red Rich
I have no doubt that if he was ever fully fit, he would be helping Leeds get out of their relegation problems. An undoubted talent in my mind, but for whatever reason, was never fit. BRR

greenun
Was he at full fitness at any time during his City career? Career? You're going to hate this DG, but Lee's time at City was neatly summed up by Tony Robinson, who had us all rolling in the aisles at Brian Tinnion's Testimonial Launch Party, with; Ode to Lee Matthews Oh Lee, oh Lee, oh Lee, To Rovers you have flit, Your goals fill me with glee, But you're never ######ng fit! Robbored
If Matthews ever gets fully fit and remains so - he'll be a great asset to the Gas.He's a good player and probably too good for the Dark Side.
Guest H Block Drum n' Bass
How much did we but him off Leeds for? I remember in his first game he scored a penalty in the last min against Millwall (won 3-1) n' the Millwall fans went into the Block in the Williams n' the players ripped up the changing room!
