But wait.............

Look at Colchester, they used to be with us down in the "bargain basement" that was the old 4th Division, and went even lower for a bit!!. we've never had to endure the Conference!!.

They have had more up's and down's than us, their fans are less demanding and fickle, possibly because they arn't a sleeping giant, or the big team of their area. They accepted their fate, had a Board who never promised what they couldn't deliver, and even enjoyed every match they won, lost or drew.

Now look at them!!.

Beating the league leaders in the Championship!!.

Now, if their Manager can assemble a half decent team of players, who can actually play well, on less money, and with a lower wage bill than what our Board has shelled out over the past few years why can't we??

I think the Board since the Wilson days have tried to buy our way into the Championship, and it hasn't worked!!,

So, the question is;

WHERE or WHY have we failed??.
