billybob
A message of support for Marcus from the club would be good. He is probably our top 'celebrity' fan and an invitation to a match of his choice would be great. We can then show our appreciation of a bloke who has been one of Englands' finest players ever. What do you think?
kingswood red
good idea, a great player who deserves support, he must be feeling pretty depressed at the moment. Cant help thinking his problem isn't cricket related but a bit closer to home though.

i remember dickie rooks
Is it wise to invite someone sufferring from stress to watch a 1-0, backs to the wall, nerve wrecking 90 minutes?Seriously, hope he gets through this OK and receives the support he needs, without the usual 'how can a sportsman get stress, he should try working down a mine' rubbish.I really hope that we are able to see him play for England again some time as he is a class act when on form. (and I'm a Gloucs supporter)

Cant help thinking his problem isn't cricket related but a bit closer to home though. From what i understand its a problem with his wife, she dosent like him on tour.Obviously a big problem for her for him to come home, i very much doubt we will ever see him play test cricket again.Still bring on the ashes CANT WAIT
