Looking at the opposition it should be 13pts at least. I think anything less would show us we aint got it. I'm confident we will get that amount of points. Rednready Posted December 10, 2006 Report Share Posted December 10, 2006 We have a defence that has withstood some good tests against top 6 opposition. We have an average midfield, and our bettet than average strikers are now available. The next 5 games should be a meat and potatoes 13-15 points if we are serious about our promotion charge. The standard of opposition over the holiday period, could not have been script written any better for us. The manager and players just have to give the right input. Injuries, not an issue, we have back up for this level of opposition. Management and coaching, they must be doing ok , we are third. We cannot afford to slack off, not even for an instance, its a 46 game endurance test. Following the next 5 matches, we need to be a clear 2end. Two more good signings early in January will send the message to the squad, perform or else, we are Championship bound. You can see certain players really going for it , not wanting to lose their spot, as competition is fierce, all through the squad. They can smell Championship football.
