mozo Posted January 16, 2007 Report Share Posted January 16, 2007 Johnson produces a great ball for a bullet header by Showumni...Combine those two with McCombe, simply the best defender we've had for years, as well as McCallister who gets better and better.Wilson may or may not be the next...the gaffer buys players who are early to mid twenties - not youngsters, nor has-beens - on the cheap, and they consistently prove to be improvements on their predecessors.Enoch does a cracking job. bh_red Posted January 16, 2007 Report Share Posted January 16, 2007 yep, majority of his signings have turned out to be very good additions to the team and improvement on what we had before, though alot of people on here seriously feel the need to hammer the players before they even get a game, currently can't think of any of the players he has signed perm yet to have been poor quality, his loan signings last season weren't the best, but it seemed to be more about getting fit players in than the quality of them. The commentator was talking about Showumni and said that he'd come in for quite a lot of stick over recent weeks. There could only be one winner tonight at the Ricoh stadium and for once it was us at last.
