taking nothing for granted, but after having out played coventry at their place, and held boro with what wasnt a full strength team, do you think our current squad is good enough to compete in the championship?

southend walked through our division last season but have struggled adapting to the championship, having not signed to many players pre-season and so far this transfer window.

however, when we were promoted a few years a go along with watford, we spent a couple of million on new players and were relegated. watford stuck with the same players and went on to the premiership.

i am fairly confident that the current squad will be good enough for the championship and with a season of consilidation, i would like to think we have the foundation to really start planning for the big time in a few years.
