bh_red Posted February 3, 2007 Report Share Posted February 3, 2007 £1m for a player who at the time despite his goals was a very average player and who only had one full season behind him and was excellent business for a player who didn't want to play for the club anymore and was out of contract in a years time.Cotterill is twice the player Lita is, doing very well at Wigan and is still alot younger than Lita.plus at the time we had just signed Marcus Stewart who was expected to score enough goals to cover his departure. Bit pissed but he definitely seems to be the man of the moment.However, £1m at the time on the back of 1 season was a good deal for us. Plus, he comes across as such as a little winker. You only have to live in a country 5 years to be able to represet it at football 3 for rugby which means I'm eligable to play for wales in 8 months.
