boadle Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Take your pick:(1) Automatic promotion, but two hammerings (let's say 1-4 and 6-0) from the Gas(2) Playoff spot, and two victories over the Gas (1-0 and 2-1)(3) Just miss playoffs, but trounce the Gas (4-0 and 5-0)
Guest brizzlered1 Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 2 - its the best of both worlds. Play-offs are horrid but still give us a chance of going up

RedTop Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 1 - and I frankly can't believe anyone would select any alternative apart from ( d ) Automatic promotion and slap the Gas back where they belong with two humiliating victories by huge margins.
Blagdon red Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 1 - Automatic promotion is a must ... and to lose so heavily as that to the Gas would mean that GJ had decided not to take the games seriously and played the youth team ... so no bragging rights for the Rovers fans!!
Guest You Know I Am Right Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 coming from a person that starts so many similar threads (and when criticised tells people not to read them) the words that come to mind are POT KETTLE AND BLACK

Rocky Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Difficult one.I'd take number one, promotion is a must.We won this tin pot trophy a few years ago anyway and we're still in this crappy league.

Not only a little Irish but likely and enjoyable.
Portishead Red Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Very constructive Bristol Boy! If the post bores you then don't reply!

deadratinmycider Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 It's a no brainer - option 1 all the way. Defeat would be a distant memoryas we lap up games against Sunderland, West Brom, Cardiff whilst theyscrape a point at home to Accrington Stanley.

Unlikely, really.
downendcity Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Rovers scraping a point at home to Accrington Stanley? Unlikely, really.Bristol Rovers- who the hell are they?
RedLionLad Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 It has to be number 1.Promotion is the goal this season.....anything else is a bonus. If we have to watch the Gas play Donny whilst looking forward to life in the Championship, then as far as I'm concerned, that's a small price to pay. Come August and a Championship opening home game against West Ham, the loss of a JPT area final will be a very distant memory.
tom buck Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 i would have to say number 1 i think promotion is the main aim this season. i would hate to get beat by the gas twice but at least we will be out of this league.
Guest Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Number 1 without a doubt; 2 x 10-0 defeats would be bearable if offset by auto promotion I fear niether will happen and in fact 2 visits to the Mill could well be favourite
RedTop Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Bristol Rovers- who the hell are they?Exactly.
Guest Paul Hudd Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Got to be number 5.CITY WIN THE DOUBLE.......
