wayne allisons tongues
Can we raise our games for a derby or do we freeze (cheltenham 3 games, sags 2 games yeovil 1 game) all no victories and very poor performances. Is it tactics or just our bottle.

Tales From The Front
It's tatics, end of story. The momment you make the game narrow it becomes a kicking match and the difference in players ability goes out the window. City have failed to grasp this over a number of games this season, especially Cheltenham at home. This lesson must be learned if further dissapointment is to be avoided. Redland
Can we raise our games for a derby or do we freeze (cheltenham 3 games, sags 2 games yeovil 1 game) all no victories and very poor performances. Is it tactics or just our bottle. That's only half the story. We've lost four of these games (Cheltenham x 2, Yeovil x 1 and Rovers x 1) and drawn the other two. So much for local West Country bragging rights! If we played derby's every weeek we'd be relegated. It seems our local rivals attatch more importance to beating City than we do to beating them. We are perceived as the bigger club - they are always up for it and treat it as their biggest game of the season. After six results like this it's difficult to come to any other conclusion. icamanicity
We still got one left, the most important one ,yeovil at home, 3pts would make up for the other six games...

Yes, but you can bet Yeovil and particularly a certain Marcus Stewart will be up for it. If we don't match this we will come unstuck in a derby for the seventh time this season. dezgimed
Bottle. They never show any fight.Gas score last night and the first thing we see is pressing the opposition, tackling and getting in their faces..Bit late lads.
SimonL
Much as I like GJ as our Manager, he suffers from the same disease as all recent Managers. As soon as we get a "big" game we alter our tactics to stop that team playing. Surely when we are at home it should be the other way round we should play to our strengths not the other teams. You never see teams like Arsenal playing a long ball game because they are playing a team that hoffs it.

Is it tactics or just our bottle.not only these, but other games that matter, forest , scunny away, nil points, more than likely home games against forest , yeovil, swansea will end up being draws, oh for decent striker! top scorer has what, 9 league goals, what a joke, look at the record of strikers in other teams, still can't understand why we didn't get someone else in , been fairly obvious from early on that's what was needed, or is it's it just the usual from the board, lets see if we can't get by, therefore saving some money, as with Tinnions appointment! As been said before this could cost us promotion, and affraid to say, getting a nasty feeling the way things are going, playoffs is the best we can hope for, sorry to say and hope I am wrong.
