Bristol Boy
Forest foiled in bid for Jarvis. Gillingham have received an offer of £650,000 from Nottingham Forest for Matt Jarvis - but the Gills say the player's agent has rejected any deal. Jarvis would have had to sign on loan initially with the transfer window now closed for permanent deals. "The player's agent has informed me he will not be joining Nottingham Forest - the power of agents," Gills chairman Paul Scally told the club website. Jarvis is out of contract with the Gills at the end of the season.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Reading between the lines it looks like the agent & Scally have fallen out and now he's advised Jarvis that he'll cop most of that £650k at the end of the season if he waits now
grifty
Surely the line "Forest foiled in Jarvis bid" would mean we wouldn't forget about it?It was an agent thing so he could still move anywhere for the right wages, etc.
