Many have tried and failed despite being good players (Millen, Butley, Watts, Sebok, Lever and many more).

martin
Have just read a thread on people's choices for palyer of the season. I can't believe that there was only 1 vote out of 17 for Basso. People open your eyes! The fact is that without Basso we would not even be in the play off places. Every gamne I have seen he has made exceelent saves at crucial times: just rmember his save agins Wellens andOldham when it was 0-0 and his double save again 0-0 at Blackpool. The man is class. The sooner we commit him to a longterm contract the better IMHO.PS I'm lloking forward to a response from Eddie on this thread!
