wookey Posted March 21, 2004 Report Share Posted March 21, 2004 Wilson has worked with the present team for four years during which time, for a Second Division manager, he has had generous funding from the Board. The present team lack simple skills, do not play together as a team and have been further messed up by Wilson's bizarre selection policy starting with dropping Tinman at the start of the season and continuing with yesterday's team. This must reflect on Wilson and Barlow, particularly their ability to train and prepare the team tactically. For example, yesterday in a high wind Wilkshire's game was always going to be more effective than Tinman's long balls and week in week out I see more aimless punts up the middle now than I did with Pulis. So, if we don't go up Wilson will have to go. If we are lucky enough to go up then God help us! If Wilson is incapable of motivating this lot then how many new players will we need?
