Look how few points Southend and Colchester went up with.

I know it's largely irrelevant because this season we're going to need more points but still shows how close we are!

I reckon you're spot on. 85 points and it's bye bye sh£t league, hello Championship

If we were to choke a bit, 81 points would probably give us half a chance of getting automatic. If Forest continued their current 1.75 points a game they'd get 80/81 points. Obviously Forest, Oldham or Yeovil may go on a run of form to change that, but we'd only need 16 points from our last 11 games to give us a chance of automatic.

If we got 85 points and didn't get automatic then we'd just have to say fair play to whoever overtakes us because it'd take a very good effort from them. I know we're 4/1 to go up as Champions, but anyone know what odds we are to go up automatically?

Odds for City as champions are now between 3/1 and 7/2, depending on which bookie you use.

Not sure about the odds for automatic promotion, but Corals have us at 4/6 for promotion (which presumably includes the

possibility of winning the play-off).
