I'm not convinced that Southends 82 points from last year will be enough for even 2nd place this time though. I'd say we'd need 85 to be sure. If Forest continued their current 1.75 points a game they'd get 80/81 points. Obviously Forest, Oldham or Yeovil may go on a run of form to change that, but we'd only need 16 points from our last 11 games to give us a chance of automatic. If we got 85 points and didn't get automatic then we'd just have to say fair play to whoever overtakes us because it'd take a very good effort from them. Redtucks Posted March 8, 2007 Report Share Posted March 8, 2007 I know we're 4/1 to go up as Champions, but anyone know what odds we are to go up automatically?Odds for City as champions are now between 3/1 and 7/2, depending on which bookie you use.Not sure about the odds for automatic promotion, but Corals have us at 4/6 for promotion (which presumably includes the possibility of winning the play-off).
