Rob_BCFC
Seeing as we are going to be in the Championship next season I was just wandering what has been the biggest gap between City and Rovers in terms of divisions. Has there ever been one Bristol team in the top division and one in the bottom? Also, has either club fallen below the Fourth Division since being elected into the league?ThanksRob
Guest
Rovers had to reapply for League status in 1939At that point we were in the same D3 (South) though..http://www.citystats.org.uk/table/T193839.aspI guess the biggest gap would be when we were in the top flight. richwwtk
Since Rovers entered the league we have never been more than a division apart. The whole time we were in the 1st division they were in the 2nd.If we go up this season and they don't it will automatically become the biggest ever gap between us.
