cityboy Posted March 22, 2004 Report Share Posted March 22, 2004 -We are essentially the same team as last year (minus a certain Scotsman) when we scored for fun. -Despite playing below par all season we're still 3rd with automatic promotion still in our hands. -Our chairman is one of the best we've had. (I can't remember any better, though my older relatives assure me Harry Dolman was 'the man') -We're not going to Severnside so get to stay at the Gate for the forseeable future -We've got a young, mostly home grown team with bags of talent -We're not in the prediciment that 'they whom shan't be mentioned' are -We've reclaimed (most of) the East End -We're going up!
