ciderup Posted March 31, 2007 Report Share Posted March 31, 2007 did feel sorry for Liam a couple of times today. bear in mind he is naturally a center half. 2 or 3 times he carried the ball forward and had absolutely no one available to pass to. it could have been the poor movement of his team mates,the good positioning of the forest players or down to Liam himself. brad blit Posted April 1, 2007 Report Share Posted April 1, 2007 McAllister is a class act, has a good pass and set peice ability, and is one of the best footballers we've got at the club. Although he was missed he is the 1 person that 3-5-2 dosnt suit and to be honest we've played better (especially away from home) with the new formation. However now we have Brooker back and teams are matching our formation il say Johnson will revert back to 4-4-2 with the new questions of who will be right back and who will partner Brooks upfront. I think bar McAllister for Fontaine yesterdays team is our strongest.As for Fontaine, he is good cover for centerback and able to do a job at left back but nomore as his positionable sense isnt as good outwide and looks like a duck out of water if he gets any further than the halfway line!! Woodman dosnt seem to have a future at City and will be shipped out in the summer, even more so if as it seems we get promoted Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
