However on the other hand, early this season, and late last season, this same forum was full of " Murray out" posts. Too old, too slow, no bottle, backs out of tackles, goes missing, etc etc. Lets look at the past 2 seasons. Murray has done his main damage in the winter months on the slower wetter winter pitches, they bring defenders back to his pace. He did not do so well on the firmer early and late season pitches. He is 33, and will be out of contract at seasons end, then its over to GJ who calls Scotty a confidence player. GJ has shown his hand by paying 150k for Betsy a new right winger. Scotty ended up second pick after Betsy arrived, then got injured. I would like to think there is room for Scotty as a squad player, its over to GJ.
