dezgimed
I'd say if we need 2, its Yeovil and Rotherham.So..Gives us 82 points. Assuming 2 away defeats.Forest have 72 with 4 left. Christ, didnt realise they had screwed up so bad!2 wins it is!

robins72
If we win at home to Yeovil, and Forest fail to beat Brentford away..A win at Carlisle will see us up! 5 wins in 16 to be exact more like relegation form. For a team that were 7 points ahead of Scunny at one point they have certainly pressed the destruct button. Come on city show us that we are 2nd for a reason and get us promoted!!! Pickle Rick
what about blackpool?Yea what about Blackpool? Should we care. NO!Why doubt your own team when we are in such a good position. Its pathetic.Forest is all we got to worry about and they are as inconsistant as us which gives the 4 points ahead something very promising. Jesus effin' Christ!!! Jesus effin' Christ!!!why doubt, are you ******* joking, we have had plenty near misses in the last 8 years, forest is not all we need to worry about, bpool are in the best form of the 3, there a point behind forest and both have easier games than us, wall and carlisle away and a home derby.most of all, our strikers don't look like getting a goal do they. Jesus effin' Christ!!!We've taken 2 points out the last 9 and Blackpool are steaming up the league and are undoubtedly the team with the momentum going into the final month of the season, I say Forest are as good as out of contention for a top 2 place as it would appear they are 'bottleing it' big time. If we were to lose against Yeovil and Blackpool won again they would be right behind us with 3 to play, they wouldnt be the first team to come out of no where and snatch promotion in the final few weeks of the season. Lets hope we start winning again and we don't have to look over our shoulders to much eh!!
old_man_terry
looking at Blackpool's remaining games, they have it tough, cheltenham & swansea away and Scunny at home!....much prefer our run in!goals have come from all over the team all season, I don't care about those teams below us in the league and what they do, all that matters is what we do!2 wins, should be enough! if we can beat Yeovil on Saturday we will be in pole position to finish the job off! candygram for mongo
BEING POSITIVE IS THE WAY TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP AND I THINK 2 WINS WILL DO IT!Oh Yeh, being positive will do it, just like when a midget got in between Basso and McCombe today and scored the winner for a very poor Gillingham team, that was positive.Positive is when you have a forward (Jevons) who would be out muscled by a girls under 11 team and you have (Smith) who his going to run his b***s off and make a nuisance of himself stuck on the bench.Positive is when you you have right footed players as your left back and left winger. Luke_Ciderhead
Its time to show some positivity people. We are four points clear in second place because we are a good team and we deserve to be there. The league table doesnt lie and its not a fluke that we are where we are. We've not been prolific goalscorers all season yet with our current team we have scored more goals than the Forest team that all you moaners think are going to catch us. This team have done us proud all season and have shown that they are capable of digging in and getting results consistently. Why should this change now when we are so close to the finishing line? Have faith in the team that have got us into this great position, that outplayed a premiership side over two games, that have never gone more than three games without a victory this season....We can do it. But we need positive vibes from all sides of Ashton Gate, and a loud following at Brunton Park and the New Den. Its easy to press the panic button after all the times we've blown it before but thats ancient history - This is a side with a winning mentality and who WANT championship football. Two wins people, TWO wins in four games....We can beat Yeovil and Rotherham and we've already beaten Carlisle and Millwall this season. If we can do that, then Forest and Blackpool will have to win all four of their games to catch us.CMON CITY.

terry
Promotion :noexpression: we are not guaranteed a play off spot yet We are in a mini play off with NF, Blackpool, and Yeovil - each of these teams give us 4, 5, and 6 points start, respectively. There are 4 games to play- -if we cannot do it I suppose perhaps we are still not good enough. However, I would be much more confident if Noble, Murray, McCallister, and Brooker were available. port marine red
It's very difficult to think positive when we've only scored two goals in the last four games, both by defenders. The Casual Connoisseur
considering their remaining games, it's very unlikelyYes, but they are probably thinking that due to our recent goalscoring form (or lack of it) that any team that is capable of scoring against us is very likey to beat us, I would have to agree. If Yeovil score can you see us scoring two, if I was honest not defeatist I would say no way.Can I see us scoring enough goals against teams to guide us to 8 points and promtion? If enough goals is two one-nils and two nil-nils then maybe, however if a team scores first then we are doomed for a draw at best, this view is based on recent facts not pie in the sky thinking. The season maybe decided by how many goals we can keep out rarther than how many we can score, recent stats suggest a 0-0 on Saturday, which would mean somewhere along the line we would have to pick up 3 points away from home, which means scoring goals.City always will get my full support and I think they are more than going to need it, I pray that the 12th man will push the ball in from somewhere, it could be our best chance of breaking the duck.Come on City we are too close to give up now!
