Rob_BCFC
http://www.bcfc.co.uk/page/TicketNews/0,,1...1011784,00.html EDIT: Does this mean we could see a 20,000+ capacity game?
Luke_Ciderhead
Party in the East End!! :goingup:Where are the Rotherham fans going?? Presue theyll have that little corner like Blackpool did a few years ago.
Claverham_Red
I would certainly hope for a 20,000 crowd! Please, BCFC, don't have a whole block of segregation between the Rotherham fans! Virtually all Premiership clubs just have a line of stewards which works fine, so I hope the club see sense by doing this too.
Rob_BCFC
Surely with just a few lines of stewards there's potential for 21,000 then?
WTFiGO!?!
''Season ticket holders can swap their vouchers for an East End ticket...''To quote the funniest man on TV: ''Wahoo!''.If scenes like the last time we were in the EE for the very last game of the season at AG are repeated then we are in for a rare treat. Claverham_Red
Surely with just a few lines of stewards there's potential for 21,000 then?I don't know. With that tunnel thing for away fans entering the ground there are quite a few seats lost behind there.Edit: Saying that, 21,203 were at the rugby earlier at the season so it is possible. NiceRed
Surely with just a few lines of stewards there's potential for 21,000 then?I dunno, those 23 Rotherham fans could cause some trouble. Best leave a good couple of blocks of segregation just in case...
elhombrecito
Excellent news, and a big well done to the club.I have absolutely no intention of going in there but it'll certainly look and sound great with (to quote Mr Sexstone) 'at least 3000' in there. cider head
Shite view, but fantastic last time I was in there. Will definately consider it! The view is ok near the front of the stand.Thank you Bristol city, Mr lansdown etc, now the teams promotion destiny is in their own hands as ismaking a atmosphere at ashton gate is in the fans hands now, especially if we need to win on the last day to makesure of going up, we need to make it hard for the away team to want to play and that means ALL OF ASHTON GATE,but now we got the EASTEND let's fill it and everyone around the ground (if needed) push this team over the finishing line,THEN IT'S PARTY TIME..Get ballons, flags the lot all over the gate and make some noise ..... Portishead Red
Party in the East End!! :goingup:Where are the Rotherham fans going?? Presue theyll have that little corner like Blackpool did a few years ago.According to the EP, Rotherham have been given 600 and will be in the first 2 blocks of the dolman nearest the eastend. Portishead Red
No. Away fans will occupy the Dolman Stand side of the East End - like Blackpool a couple of seasons ago.Doh! Thanks for clearing that up mate. I mis-read it in my excitement of the thought of having the whole eastend!!!
Rob_BCFC
According to the site the other 3 stands of the ground total a capacity of 15,997. Add 3,000 (at least) in the East End that makes 19,000. That should mean a good chance of 20,000+ if they open up another block for us in the East End. How many can you see Rotherham taking? Last season they took 238, so with their current position that should be even less. Will they give us an extra block?
Luke_Ciderhead
Rotherham will bring 200 at the very most I would have thought. I just hope they try and squeeze in as many City fans as possible to the East End. It would be stupid giving 200 Millers fans a whole block of the east end, with an extra block as segregation.
