formerly known as ivan Posted April 30, 2007 Report Share Posted April 30, 2007 to get the opening goal?i think that if we don't score in the first 20-25 mins, then people will start panicing and getting on players backs. its all well and good having 19,000+ fans on saturday, but not if people are going to start turning on players when things arent going our way.or, how long do you think it will be until the players start to panic, say with the score 0-0 with 15 mins to go and they start doing stupid things.oh crap, this is going to be unbearable! Remember the Doncaster game in about 1990 when we won 1-0 to get in the play offs. The crowd stayed with the team all the way and we got one with about about 10 mins to go. Theres nothing we can do about it now with 90 minutes left of the season. This is our team and we have to sing all afternoon till our voices go hoarse. If its 0-0 with 15 minutes to go...Then its still in our hands, and 100% up to us.
