dezgimed Posted May 8, 2007 Report Share Posted May 8, 2007 Just a random thought.Its apparent we need a rabid midfielder in the mould of Scott Brown or Tommy Doc..For the non stop running, chasing, snapping at heels etc.Could Smith do this role?Clearly lame as a striker, but can pass, cross, is eager to chase and seems competent at holding the ball up.Might be worth a try before getting rid.Ala Alan Smith at Man U!
