Karl Hawley

With Hawley being available on a free transfer he is an attractive proposition for a number of clubs and Leicester, Plymouth, Stoke, Ipswich, Bristol City and Nottingham Forest are all thought to be monitoring Hawley's situation

Good old SkySports hedging their bets by naming half the clubs in England.

Surely he'll end up at one of them if we lisrt them all!

I personally think we need more than 1 striker. For a free transfer id say he would be a good signing probably better than what we already have if we signed him and then spent a bit of cash on another striker e.g. varney or mcleod id be happy.

He scored less goals last season than Phil Jevons

12 goals in 30 league starts - better than one in three but not outstanding. I'd rather have Hawley up front than any of our current lot other than Brooker but not sure if he'd make the step up.

It is no more impressive than Enoch's 10 in 28, however if we were another team with aspirations of consolidation in the Championship, then he would not be on my list of strikers to buy.
