mcbcfc Posted May 23, 2007 Report Share Posted May 23, 2007 A mate of mine who lives in Munchengladbach (sp), Germany, says there's talk that Danish midfielder Sebastian Svard has been linked to us, stoke and qpr. He played 13 games for Borussia Munchengladbach last season but they got relegated and having played in England for Arsenal as a kid and for stoke on loan fancies another crack at english football. Glastonbury Red Posted May 23, 2007 Report Share Posted May 23, 2007 Played in the same Arsenal youth squad as NobleSebastian SvardDanish defender Svard was something of a prodigy when he signed for Arsenal from FC Copenhagen in 2000 having starred for all the Danish teams at youth level. However, he never maintained that early promise. After spells on loan back home with FC Copenhagen, Brondby and Stoke, he was released by Arsenal in 2005 immediately moving to Portuguese side SC Vitoria.
