Guest Spike Posted March 26, 2004 Report Share Posted March 26, 2004 I was just sat here browsing the forums feeling quite happy that Murray is back but I was also wondering how much the transfer fee was and I was curious about what you guys think about his age? I know we have a pretty young team with exception of one or two players but despite how good scotty is we just bought a player who is coming onto his 30's and probably doesnt have many years left in him and he has only signed a 3 year contract anyway. So what I was thinking about is what if we get promoted and start building up a better team and with that Murray leaves the club again? We would be suffering a huge blow again and if it's handled like it was last time we will be a weakened team again.. I love watching Scott play but I'm wondering if his return is going to improve us for the short term but make things worse in the long run Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
