Dollymarie Posted July 8, 2007 Report Share Posted July 8, 2007 Yes it really is me posting at this stupid hour, I am just about to leave for Silverstone for my second day at the British Grand Prix.Yesterday was brilliant, I am sure today will be as well, having to get there so early as we only have general admission tickets, so we need to pick a good spot.Hopefully Lewis can do the business today in front of his home crowd, the fans went loopy yesterday when he got pole.Anyway it is very hard to type in the dark (cant face putting the lights on yet!) so I shall be off.GO LEWIS!!!! howey_ducky Posted July 9, 2007 Report Share Posted July 9, 2007 yeah, silverstone on gp day is a wicked experience, only been the once (working also) but sat on top of a 7.5tonne lorry on the inside of the circuit and watched micheal shumacher fly round the first corner, in front, then he hit the wall and broke his leg, whilst also in front, he was soon over taken. got into david coulthards pre drace party, wearing a pair of tracksuit bottoms and sandals, that was an experience, good time though. great weekend.
