Are We Expecting Too Much Of Finnbogasson ?

Everyone seems to assume we're going to sign this lad and people are already picking him as our first-choice striker.

But, why ?

All we know about him is that he's done ok in celtics reserves and that his agent is touting him around half of scandanavia. (and maybe using us to generate more interest perhaps ?) Is that any way to make a judgement ?

Yes, he could be the next big thing, but I seem to remember people getting just as excited when Steven Gillespie arrived. And where is he now ?

Everyone agrees that we need to buy a striker, but isnt this a bit of a gamble ? Shouldnt we be looking at players who are tried and tested at this level ?

Andy the problem is 90% of city fans don't rate what we got to do the business upfront,so we have to hope and prey that the finn and sproule are the real deal cus if they ant we are certain to be in a relagation struggle come the end.
