giles_23_bcfc
don't know if anyone has realised or posted this, but, this season could mark a very strange occurance.Father vs son:Teddy Sheringham (Colchester) vs his son (Crystal Palace) (not sure of his son's name) at Selhurst Park on September 20th.Is this a first or has it happened before? I'm sure someone on here will either know or will be able to dig up the relevant information. It's certainly someting that won't happen for a long long while yet. Eddie Hitler
are there set rules for such a thing? Probably ought to be, Teddy will threaten to tell everybody how old his son when he stopped wetting the bed if he scores or tackles him.

Sir Colby-Tit
I can confirm it has happened before. In 1978 my old man joined in a friendly game in Redland Park. The ####### went on the opposing team and upended me with a two footed challenge from behind. The ref didn't see it as he'd temporalily left the field of play to buy a sherbert dibdab. havanatopia
you know what i mean.adopted should not be allowed in my view.. that'll bring all kind of charlies into the reckoning. I think we need to have some proper rules here. And as for park football thats definately out Colby. :noexpression:

citylad21
Ian didn't play against Shaun, I remember there being an article about it prior to the match, it was when Wrighty was at Forest, he didn't get picked
slartibartfast
I'm sure the likes of Plymuff, Swindle etc have had players that played against their sons/fathers and NOT realised it . Very convoluted this incest lark!
