I know there's a bristol poker group set up and i believe matty h (was once a forum member, not sure if he still posts) is a member but would like to set up a city rfans poker group if any one is interested, or get involved if ones already set up. Nibor Posted July 16, 2007 Report Share Posted July 16, 2007 I play a weekly game with mates and we have the odd night at the casino in the NLHE tournies.I'm sure there's a couple of people on otib who play fairly regularly at the Stanley and the Grosvenor at least.As CH says, the ST organised some nights last year, might be they will do so again this season... and there was a promotion with PartyPoker. next_year_I_hope Posted July 17, 2007 Report Share Posted July 17, 2007 play in the bristol poker league 3 times a week sometimes goes down the grosvnor sometimes won the poker tournement that city organized got free tickets and food tour of ground shame they didnt do it this year has well!!!ST couldnt run it no more because it was close to gaming laws i believe but now that law is changing soon they may run again!!! Play several times every week. Play everywhere from Stanleys in Bristol, to Wallsall, London, Birmingham, everywhere really. Play home games too, but prefer the big entry casino gamesI did post an invite and a link to the Bristol Poker group a while back but admin deleted it for some reason.
