WhistleHappy Posted July 22, 2007 Report Share Posted July 22, 2007 ...thats gotta be good news, -the rich helping the less well off.Be nice if the thinking was extended so that each top-twenty pro outfit AND ALL pro league clubs (us included) that are benefiting from this windfall each donated a proportional amount to their own local grassroots semi-pro & amateur teams (who do so much good for communities & struggle the most)... Every Little Helps as someones already said, & lets face it (despite pleas of being hard up) with the amount of money & players wages floating around within the pro game, theres no excuse not to really is there?... except greed & selfishness! Lets hope this might be the beginning of a more caring, sharing, sporting football ethic.... - best not hold our breaths just yet though eh?
