BCAGFC
What a surprise that in the week where GJ/SL have stated that we are struggling to get a striker in we get a story that Steve Brooker is nearly back in training.IMO, another story to soften the blow of no new striker.BCAGFC

Adze
Brooker has what is takes to be a great Championship striker.I don't understand why everyone is putting him down, in my opinion, he is still our best striker!!!

BCAGFC
If there is no new striker, do you not think the club has been 100% in trying to get one in ?As I have stated in other threads I do not believe that there is not ONE proven 15+ goalscoring striker in the WHOLE of Europe who doesn't want to play for BCFC.I am not saying we have to spend MILLIONS (plural) on a striker but £1m+ is not alot these days IF YOU WANT QUALITY AND PROVEN ABILITY.BCAGFCP.s. A fully fit and motivated Steve Brooker will be more than good enough for the Championship (& could possibly cover for the lack of a new striker) but I have grave concerns over his fitness levels and I will be very surpised if we get more than 20+ games out of him this season.
