BournemouthRed
I think I'm right in saying Akinbiyi (£1.2million) and Thorpe (£1million) are our top two most expensive signings...What's our third? Just wondering where LT might fit into that particular table should 'it' finally happen.

Andy Cole was £550.000 from Arsenal.

Nibor
Soren Andersen was a quality striker. Problem was we played him left wing.Akinbiyi was our record signing and we actually paid about £2m in total because Gills got two separate lots of sell on money. Initial fee was £1.2m as stated though.
Northern Red
steve jones, 500k.was there ever poorer buisness done than that.Pulis spunked well over £1million on him, Beadle, Mercer & Holland. Net return = zilch.Soren Andersen was a quality striker. Problem was we played him left wing. And right wing & centre, and knowing Benny he probably appeared in defence on occasions. A vastly underrated player, who we didn't see the best of. When he signed, he'd only narrowly missed out on the Danish World Cup squad.
Dynamite Red
Akinbuyme - 1.2Thorpe - 1.0Peacock - 0.6Andersen - 0.54Cole - 0.5S.Jones - 0.5Seebok - 0.4Think thats pretty close. Plus McIndoe and Sproule are probably in that list somewhere.
