Bristol Boy
Do we need one?Tinnion/Kavanagh type player?Do we already have one?Could anyone name a player that would be prepared to join us and fits the bill?Is this the only other position that "signing five" might be or is it just that "pacy striker" we need?Over to you for a heated debate! A potentially effective midfield general. Defensive kingpin, don't f*&k with LT licenced to thrill

Andy Horsman
Bit similar to Skuse?Possibly, but young, would be relatively inexpensive, and potentially a very good prospect.Particularly if Skuse to Reading rears it's ugly head again.... Will Rollason
Frankie Artus?Am looking forward to seeing a bit of Artus this year. Some watchers think he might be the reason we havent been in for any midfielders ( well not that we know of) and if he and Skuse can step up to CCC level then all good

WhistleHappy
...used to love our 'midfield dynamo' from Alan d###'s days - Bobby Kellard, no nonsense got stuck in etc..someone of that ilk would be welcomed..ALAN D.I.C.K's (bloody filters!) Puckle_red
You do realise we played Yeovel right? We need a Tommy Doc type player. Johnson (although a good footballer) bottles every challange, Noble isnt a tackler. Neither Murray or McIndoe are tacklers. We are a pretty side, but we are so lightweight. I'd have Nobes + a tommy type player in midfield over any other midfielder we have.
formerly known as ivan
been thinking of the holding midfielders out there who we really have a realistic chance of signing, and the one that springs to mind is kevin maher at southend.a real class act and looked good in the championship last season. wouldnt cost an arm and a leg either
