Qpr Meeting Place ?

it seems the Nova is being recommended as a QPR fans neeting point ......

there's a thread at the BBC QPR fans forum, from a Bristol based QPR fan, even a mention of a musical escort for the QPR fans on their walk from the Nova to the ground.

OR maybe its that our Doll's fame has spread, and they're going to visit her.

either way, ........

it could be a bit tight on elbow room there .......

but more importantly

24 hours and I'm heading off to the Gate

Why there? **** sake!!!

also did you know the Pump House in Hotwells has gone all upmarket? Its now owned by the same people from the Albion in Clifton Village.

Plus for those of you who don't come to Bristol too often, the Bristol Beer Factory (based in BS3) has bought the old Shoots floating restaurant and turned it into a BeerBoat (the Grain Barge!) just along from the pump house almost opposite SS Great Britain.

So Barrow Gurney Bernie...what's the beer factory like? walked past a couple of weeks ago but didn't go in. I assume football fans aren't welcome in the Pump House??

Grain Store Barge is OK, you can sit alongside and upstairs, but service was a bit slow when I went. don't they (beer Factory) sponsor the scoreboard so would imagine they will be up for beers beforehand.

Pump House is pretty nice but I would be very suprised if they let in footy shirts although tomorrow I would also be just as surprised if they expect the numbers who fancy sitting outside by the water for a pricey pint, and its great business after all worth two hours of stress?

re the Beer itself - I don't know as I am one of "Thatchers children" and prefer the Apple on Welsh Back waterside for laid back open air scrumpy

I was thinking of stopping at the Cottage (no the gay one in town) but I got a feeling that'll be rammed (not in a gay way) too.

The Avon Packet has a large and pleasant(In a quirky way) garden

Cottaging? quirky gardens?

I am now getting seriously worried. Do you want to make alternative arrangements?

Is the Apple open during the day now?
