you seem to have a hatred for bbc radio bristol . why?

the away game should be the one that gets full commentry and as we have 3 teams around the area

it is hard to juggle them about.

if we only had the one team then fine , we would have citys game every saturday home and away.

BBC employees 25,0000

Taking into account the radio coverage the BBC should only need 10,000 empoyees

Not to mention the bonus's that 1 in 2 BBC employees recieved in the last few weeks

Yeah, 'cos everyone can and is able to get to the game. What about the elderly/disabled/those with families who can't get. It'd be very easy for Radio Bristol to broadcast both games on different frequencies, but for some reason this is not forthcoming. Lots of other radio stations do it without fuss or bother.

There's also my Dad who can't see very well but loves going to the game and really benefits when there's commentary. Which isn't going to happen with the current silly situation.

They're more likely to talk about Bristol City on fivelive than on bbc bristol, they talk such rubbish after the game, then speak to Gary Johnson at about 6.00 which is good, so i now listen to fivelive on the way home and then switch over at 6.00

Since when is the Bath City result even vaguely important, if anyone cared they would go to the game! but with City there must be loads of people who are really interested in hearing about the game because they couldn't / can't go, it really is absurd

Personally i think radio Bris' is crap (is anyone really interested in how Clevedon,with that nutty gashead Bater or the incomprehensable Geordie Frank Gregan with whatever West Country team he's managing this year has to say) but in fairness to 20man i think he goes out of his way to be neutral considering his gas background and does it quite well, as for him saying QPR were unlucky not to win, surely a fair comment?

What outfit would charge 135 pounds in advance and not worry

about the tripe it pushes out,and the consumer not able to get any rebate

on its poor quality of service

Regarding fans not attending games lets look at the possiblties of why they don't attend

Lack of money work commitments a domestic situation mobilty difficulties

Some one might be confined to bed due to a short term illness

If Brunel FM swindon radio(which has been going less that a year)

can take the home and away full live commentary off the BBC to cover Swindon town

It just shows how cheap these radio rights actually are

Who ever sanctioned the extra half an hour on saturday afternoon

is totally out of touch with the listeners

If the extra half an hour was used on mid-week matches then I could

understand

On tuesday night it will be pack up time smack on 10:00pm

The extra half an hour on saturday afternoon is only used

for the players and managers interviews.

Most of us are watching Sky sports coverage from 5:15pm onwards

Regarding sports journalists they don't even need to get off thier back sides

to find a footy story.

WE(us City followers) DO IT FOR THEM

Just listen to the amount of times the journalist will say

on the forum it say this, on the forum it says that etc.

The jourrnalists have access to the breaking news storys

via SMS

When the game kicked off I was stuck in a queue around the Cumberland Basin for around 20 minutes. Rovers didn't have a game so I expected there to be commentary of our match so I could at least keep up with the game. Instead I had a 15 minute interview with a Bath player that had broken his leg and basically just talked about how fed up he was not to be playing!

Would having home games on the radio make people think on a winter day I will listen to the match on the Radio by doing make a smaller crowd at the game.

I think since we had a new Manager at the station the station is not so good I hardly listen to it at all now only sport. Since John Turner moved to a early spot I never have the radio on in the mornings
