What's your point?listening to the programme whilst at the gate why did "FLUMP"along with Chris spittles not get to huddersfield till nearly 2:15pm?Maybe BBC radio should act like the professionals of five liveand get thier commentators to the game on timefive lives reporter for the sunderland v spurs game was there three and quarter hoursbefore the game started Wow, 3 1/4 Hours! And your point again is?Twentyman kept on saying QPR fans ring in with your thoughtsthe only QPR fan to ring in was a Bristol based QPR fan And that was his fault?? I was certainly interested in hearing the views of people that have been watching this league for some time, it's hardly anyones fault QPR fans didn't phone in is it?To top it all, twentyman said you can see scottys super goal on points westyes you can on MONDAYpay attention, thier is another TV station called ITVYOU can watch scottys super goal at 10:00am on SUNDAY morningHe works for BBC...You would hardly get the bloke in John Lewis saying "sorry, we don't have it in stock, we can get it, but it would be much quicker if you went to Debenhams to buy it!"Whats going to happen when we are at home to sheffield United on saturday october 6th kick off 5:20pmWe are here at Ashton gate for "UPDATES"Out of interest...have you bee done in the past for not having a TV licence, or is it just a post to moan about something that Ashton Yate hasn't? wesco
Geoff works for BBC why would he promote something on ITV or sky? and since when have the radio covered one of the local sides when they are playing at home ignoring the team/s that are away? It makes sense. If not next week you'd be moaning that our away game was not on the radio

Tim S
Another completely pointless post by NTTDS.If you don't like radio Bristol, why listen?????I don't like Bristol Rovers - so I don't go to see them play.I don't like Sainsburys - so I don't shop there.I don't like France - so I don't go there.I don't like Coronation Street - so I don't watch it.SO IF YOU DON'T LIKE WHAT RADIO BRISTOL DO - DON'T LISTEN TO IT!!! Its your choice to listen or not - so if you do choose to listen, don't keep coming on here and moaning about what you are listening too.
churchill ciderhead
As long as 20man is on 20man talks c**p and bbc you'll always get a byas Gas.All summer all they talked about was Gas go up!!!!! Days and days went past and not a thing about City!!!!!Until I phoned bbc and complained, (every morning all about Gas nothing about City) One hour later they mentioned CITY!)I've already decided, I don't listen to bbc Bristol anymore. (only after a city game, and thats not for long now. Just get the result and a quick summary of our game.)UP AND UP THE CITY!!!!!!!

TryAgain
Why would we want home games on Radio Bristol we can see for ourselves at the match.? stranter
Why would we want home games on Radio Bristol we can see for ourselves at the match.? I don't think that we should cater for people who choose not to pay their money at the turnstiles.Yeah, 'cos everyone can and is able to get to the game. What about the elderly/disabled/those with families who can't get. It'd be very easy for Radio Bristol to broadcast both games on different frequencies, but for some reason this is not forthcoming. Lots of other radio stations do it without fuss or bother. There's also my Dad who can't see very well but loves going to the game and really benefits when there's commentary. Which isn't going to happen with the current silly situation.Stewart
LouieDane
They're more likely to talk about Bristol City on fivelive than on bbc bristol, they talk such rubbish after the game, then speak to Gary Johnson at about 6.00 which is good, so i now listen to fivelive on the way home and then switch over at 6.00Since when is the Bath City result even vaguely important, if anyone cared they would go to the game! but with City there must be loads of people who are really interested in hearing about the game because they couldn't / can't go, it really is absurd
SUPER REDS
I always listen to he radio Bristol on the way home, usually Mr Twentyman is fairly fair, but I thought on Saturday a sell out crowd and the return to the Championship was just to much for him to bear on Saturday, with comments of lack of concentration after scoring and QPR were unlucky not to win after Rowlands had hit the woodwork many times,so I did as you siad turned him off

richwwtk
I have to admit, there was a home game last season (can't remember which one) that I was late getting to because of work. When the game kicked off I was stuck in a queue around the Cumberland Basin for around 20 minutes. Rovers didn't have a game so I expected there to be commentary of our match so I could at least keep up with the game. Instead I had a 15 minute interview with a Bath player that had broken his leg and basically just talked about how fed up he was not to be playing!
