The QPR player at the end of the game walking along the Dolman stand applauding the crowd in the Dolman, walked right the way along the side of the pitch then towards the away fans.I thought that was a nice touch, he obviously enjoyed his day at the gate ! Southport Red Posted August 12, 2007 Report Share Posted August 12, 2007 I saw it, I think he was being ironic. He walked off just in front of the ref who was (rightfully) getting a lot of stick. I thnk the QPR player didn't realise the officials were right behind him and thouht he was being jeered, rather than react nastily and get himself into trouble he clapped - I assumed he was being ironic about some stick he thought was his but which actually wasn't.
