giles_23_bcfc
Enoch or Jevo to partner trundleFor me JevoWhy/how do we choose? Its only our opinion, its Gary Johnson's choice who plays up front. And Trundle isnt going to start every game.

jellyred
Agree with Jevo, think Trundle can bring the best out of him.

croax
For me Jevo.Although when Noble is fit I would play him just behind Trundle.

Bristol Boy
Neither.Either play one up top or sign someone that's quality and compliments Trundle. If that means SL laying out some cash, so be it.Sorry, but we can't afford to mix and make do, give everyone a chance and find ourselves six points adrift of safety at Xmas. SyntaxtheRed
Jevons out of the two. although Sproule or Noble when available would probably be better, unless Jevo gets a hatrick from 3 LT23 assists tonight
Nogbad the Bad
It would be very harsh not to give last season's top scorer a chance to try his luck with the increased opportunities which we expect to be created by the new wingers. Jevons did ok in pre-season and he may well link well and prosper alongside Trundle. Speed may not be such an issue if the wingers gain the ground and cut the ball back, or indeed if we thread our way through the opposition. Both Jevons and Trundle can shoot from distance, and both are intelligent players, so it might just work.
exiledinwatford
GJ obviously thinks this is his best side - he should stick with it for four games if he can. For me that includes Enoch and Vasko. Every season we get this swapping about - pre-season was the time to experiment. I thought we played some good committed stuff on Saturday. Maybe we all have short memories - how many games (particularly against lower teams) did we come away feeling disappointed with our quality last season? Certainly didn't get that on Saturday
redmelsh
Out of the two Jevons. But i still think i would prefer Murray or Brooker (when he isn't crocked)

Sproule played up front for the odd few minutes here and there. He scored three against Rangers once nearly two years ago after coming on as a sub to replace an injured forward. They're both right wingers. They might be able to do a job up front on the break against tiring opposition but playing up front for 90 minutes is a completely different job, one neither has much experience of.I'm sure GJ won't be picking either of them up front ahead of a specialist striker when he doesn't have to and I'm fairly sure we'll be seeing a new striker coming in before the close of the window.
