Dolman Block B Posted August 23, 2007 Report Share Posted August 23, 2007 I don't have a problem with Hartson's age, after all age is only a number, I just don't think he is the right player for us for several reasons, wage demand, lack of pace and disciplinary record, even the 'you can't win anything with youngsters' manure team had several more mature players, teams need a balance of youth and experience.However, I will be surprised if Fowler and Hasselwank score shed loads of goals, it has been a long time since Fowler scored 20 in a season and i'm not sure that Hasselbank ever has, I think they may get 20 odd between them, which is what you need from midfield players in successful teams.Think you got a point RB, and its a topic that could be debated for ever.Suppose most look at the 2 names and think "f@@@ me", but no one knows how it will go for them.
